We would like to sincerely thank you for respecting our Covid-19 protocol. Your adherence and attention to our precautions have made a big impact on our staff, providers, and (most importantly) our patients. We greatly appreciate your consideration.

Our physicians are closely monitoring clinical guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Illinois Department of Public Health, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).

Many of you have heard the exciting and hopeful news from the CDC regarding activities that can be resumed for fully vaccinated individuals. These new guidelines, however, does not apply to healthcare facilities.

Please keep in mind that we care for many patients with compromised immune systems and patients who may not have been vaccinated, therefore, MASKS MUST STILL BE WORN WHILE WITHIN OUR OFFICE per CDC guidelines for healthcare facilities even for those are have been fully vaccinated.

We would like for you to be aware of the following recommendations to ensure your visit with us is as safe as possible.

Prior to your visit:
  • We encourage sign up for the patient portal. Before your appointment, make sure your information is up to date. On the day of your visit, to do a self-check in. This will allow you to wait in your car until the technician has a room for you. This will minimize multiple people in the waiting rooms at one time. If you have not already signed up for the portal, request an email to be sent to you with a secure link to Include your name and birthday.

The Day of your visit:
  • All patients wear a mask while in our office in accordance with CDC recommendations.
  • We are cleaning and sanitizing our waiting rooms, patient check in areas, and examination rooms after every patient. To protect all our staff and patients, only patients will be allowed in the office. Patients are advised to wait in their car and come in at their scheduled appointment time. We will be checking the temperature of all patients upon arrival.
  • Please understand that our providers and staff will also be following social distancing guidelines whenever possible during your visit.

We can all work together to prevent the spread of germs by washing hands, utilizing hand sanitizer, and avoiding handshakes and hugs in the offices. We value your trust, your health and your safety, as well as the health and safety of our staff.
